The Center for Employee Assistance

The Center for Employee Assistance provides services to employees of companies who have developed Employee Assistance Programs with us. The Center offers employees and their families the opportunity to talk with a professional consultant to help the individual evaluate and understand their unique situation. They can guide the employee through an immediate crisis, develop an "Action Plan" to resolve problems or recommend further resources for ongoing counseling or advice.

Confidential Assistance

Services of The Center for Employee of Assistance are offered to employees and members of their immediate families free of charge. All privacy safeguards apply to use of this service. The employer is not notified when service is used: no record or mention of the visit is sent to the employer.

How do employees and their families use The Center for Employee Assistance?

  • In the Milwaukee area, employees may call The Center at (414) 777-3162 (effective August 22, 2008, new phone number is 414-389-2987) or toll free at 800-227-7696.  In the Racine, Kenosha or Burlington area, call 262-687-2777.
  • Employees can schedule an appointment or simply call for information or answers to questions.
  • Services are available during regular business hours, but our 24-hour answering service will put you in touch with a consultant in case of an immediate crisis.

Some common issues include:

  • Behavior/attitude problems with children
  • Family violence
  • Legal problems or budgeting concerns
  • Marital or relationship difficulties
  • Problems with alcohol or drugs
  • Stress, depression or anxiety
