Vascular Disease Screening
Three tests that could save your life and limbs.
Tests include Carotid Artery Imaging of the neck to assess stroke risk, Abdominal Aorta Imaging for aneurysm, and Ankle Brachial Index for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) of the legs. This screening is painless and uses ultrasound to evaluate blood flow and visualize arteries. Individuals 55 or older with risk factors like hypertension, diabetes, smoking, high cholesterol, and/or a family history of vascular disease or aneurysm can benefit from this preventive screening.
