Infant CPR

Family and Friends Infant CPR program, based on American Heart Association guidelines, teaches parents, grandparents and other caregivers how to perform lifesaving CPR and relieve choking in an infant.
Act in Time to Heart Attack Signs
This 1 hour presentation will prepare participants to recognize the early warning signs of a heart attack and to take quick action if a heart attack occurs. In addition, this session helps participants learn more about the risk factors for a heart attack and how to prevent and control them. This presentation is designed for use with small groups in healthcare facilities, worksites, community groups, churches, senior centers and housing units, health fairs and similar settings. It is especially designed for people who are at risk for coronary heart disease and their families, but it will be of interest to anyone who wants to learn how to help save the life of someone experiencing the warning signs of a heart attack.

Heartsaver AED
This 2.5 hour course is designed to teach the skills of adult/child/infant CPR, foreign body airway obstruction (choking victim), and use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for adult/child victims. This course is intended for lay responders, such as police, airline personnel, fitness centers, security guards, employees in the work place, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and those who may need to respond to a cardiac emergency. Successful participants receive a course completion card from the American Heart Association, certification good for two years. Registration fee includes all course materials.
