Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare offers classes in the Milwaukee and Racine areas to help you and your family prepare for your new arrival.
Milwaukee area classes include:

Registration is required for all classes – enroll early to insure your place in class! Please note: Childbirth education classes offered in the Milwaukee area are for parents giving birth at a Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare hospital.

Parent Workshop
January 8 (Th), 6 – 8 pm Register Online
Location: WFH-All Saints
Want to learn how to talk with your baby before your baby can talk to you? Join other families who've discovered the magic of the new way to talk with babies - sign language. The Baby Signs® Program is designed for parents of children from birth to 24 months. This workshop will teach you how to reduce frustration and build trust, strengthen the parent/infant bond, help babies learn to talk, and promote positive emotional development.
Fee: $15 registration fee
A $35.00 materials fee is to be paid directly to the instructor at the class.
The Happiest Baby on the Block
January 24 (Sa), 10 am - 12 noon Register Online
Location: WFH- Wauwatosa
You can have “The Happiest Baby on the Block” by learning the techniques of Dr. Harvey Karp. Join other parents-to-be to learn step-by-step how to soothe even the fussiest baby and help them sleep better. We recommend that you learn these techniques before baby is born or by four months of age. Fee includes Dr. Karp’s DVD/video and Soothing Sounds CD.
Fee: $40/family
Prenatal Massage
February 3 and 10 (T), 6 – 7:30 pm Register Online
Location: WFH-All Saints
This 2-week class taught by Certified Prenatal Massage Instructor and Licensed Massage Therapist, Tammy Naegeli, will instruct you and your partner in massage techniques to help during pregnancy through labor.
Fee: $40
Hello Baby
February 7 (Sa) 10 – 11:45 am Register Online
Location: WFH-All Saints
This special class helps your children (ages 3 to 8) prepare for the birth of their new brother or sister. A parent must accompany the children. Register 1 child and list additional siblings, ages, and parent name(s) in the "Who will be coming with you" question.
Fee: $10/family
Infant Massage
March 3 - 24 (T), 6 – 7:30 pm Register Online
Location: WFH-All Saints
This 4-week class taught by Certified Prenatal Massage Instructor and Licensed Massage Therapist, Tammy Naegeli, will instruct you in massage techniques that will help you learn interactive communication with your baby through loving touch.
Fee: $40

First and Third Fridays, 1 – 2:30 pm
Location: WFH-All Saints, St. Luke's Health Pavilion
This group is for babies under one year of age. Each meeting focuses on a particular parenting topic
along with time for questions and socialization. The Family Classroom is located on the lower level across from the elevators.
Fee: $1.00 donation per meeting is requested
Registration is not required.
The Baby Connection
Wednesdays, 10:30 am – 12 noon
Location: WFH-Elmbrook, Pavlic Center
An opportunity to connect and compare notes with other moms! Led by a lactation consultant; a parenting topic is discussed weekly. Baby weigh-ins available.

Racine Mothers of Multiples (M.O.M.) Club

First Fridays except July, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Location: WFH-All Saints, St. Luke's Health Pavilion
This group is open to mothers, fathers and siblings of multiples. This social/support group discusses educational information available for the rearing, development and encouragement of individuality of multiples. Chat session from 6:30 - 7:00. Meeting begins at 7:00. The Family Classroom is located on the lower level across from the elevators. Free
